Born: December 7, 2004
Current Age: 63
Position: Wife of Tuan Kyrano, mother to Dianne, step-mother to Tin-Tin, mother-in-law to Jeff, grandmother to Scott, Virgil, John, Gordon, Alan, Cherie, Alex, and Tyler, babysitter for Joshua Kelly, cook, housekeeper, hairdresser, and masseuse for the Tracy family

Lisa is an old-fashioned Southern girl from the lower middle-class. A gregarious and generally good-natured girl, she had many friends, and usually got along well with her younger brother, Andrew. She completed high school, then went on for a two-year degree in cosmetology as well. Marrying Garrett Parkhurst right after graduation, she soon became pregnant and had her first child, Dianne, at age 19. Two sons, Jared and Douglas, followed, spaced out by two or three years.

Soon after their marriage, it became apparent that Garrett had a drinking problem, one that swiftly progressed into alcoholism. When drunk, he became abusive to Lisa. As the years progressed, Garrett started staying away from home and when he did return, it was to reassert his dominance over the family. In the meantime, Lisa tried hard to keep the family together and to hide what was to her a shameful situation. She began to spiral down into depression and apathy.

One night, however, an angry, 9-year-old Dianne stepped between her parents and became the target of her father's rage. Seeing her child so badly hurt shook Lisa and galvanized her determination to leave Garrett. She swore out a restraining order and warrant against him, then hired a lawyer to begin divorce and custody proceedings. Garrett promptly disappeared.

For two years, Lisa looked for Garrett, determined to be legally free of him. She worked two jobs; cutting hair in her little salon, and preparing food in an industrial cafeteria. She was supported emotionally and sometimes financially by Andrew, then a doctor living near Myrtle Beach. Finally, Garrett was arrested in Florida, and brought back to South Carolina. He was jailed, and his assets were liquidated to pay back child support and alimony. The divorce was finalized, and Lisa and her children were free. Eventually, she quit her cafeteria job, focusing on her little shop, and raising her children on her own.

When she discovered her daughter's dream of becoming a doctor, she took it as her own, doing everything possible to put Dianne through medical school. And she was very happy to see her daughter marry Richard Koch. Lisa knew him to be a good man, and she loved Rick like her own sons. Devastated by his death, she realized that Dianne and her children needed her more than ever, and she stepped in to support her daughter. When Dianne reached rock-bottom in her grief, Lisa made her promise to never voluntarily leave her children without a mother, a promise that Dianne kept and remembered.

She was not pleased that her daughter and grandchildren moved to a South Pacific island for her daughter's new job as Tracy family physician. And she was flabbergasted to learn of Dianne's engagement to one of the world's richest men. She was flown out for the wedding, and, in spite of her initial misgivings, decided that Jeff would make a good husband and father-figure. While at the wedding, she was introduced to Kyrano, who was as taken with her forthrightness and flamboyance as she was impressed by his gentleness and calm demeanor. They became romantically involved and enjoyed a flirty, long distance relationship. Recently, they became engaged, and are anticipating a wedding in the near future.

While visiting the Island, Lisa became suspicious of certain rumblings and of the family's efforts to deflect her from time to time. She nosed around and discovered a secret: the Tracy family ran International Rescue. Knowing that this was a secret she must keep, she did so, not even telling Dianne that she knew. Eventually, Jeff and Dianne brought her into the loop about IR, and she surprised them by telling them she already knew! After that, she helped out whenever she came to the Island, lightening the load for the support staff and keeping an eye on her eight Tracy grandchildren. After her engagement to Kyrano, she moved out to the island to live full-time.

She has three other grandchildren, a set of rambunctious twins, Jared Jr. and Jeremy, from her oldest son, Jared, and a granddaughter, Stephanie, from her youngest child, Douglas. She is very close to her daughters-in-law, Patricia and Angela, and to her sister-in-law, Maggie Carmichael. Her ex-husband recently resurfaced, obstensibly to make amends, but Lisa does not believe his intentions are real.

Lisa loves to cook and bake, to cut and style hair, and is a mean bowler. Fat romance novels are her favorite reading materials, and she'll eagerly join in on a game of volleyball. She also does massage, a talent that the Tracys have found to be particularly helpful. Her bubbly personality and good sense of humor have helped her make many friends, particularly in her hometown, where the women of her neighborhood often stopped to have their hair done, and catch up on the latest gossip. Her children have learned that their secrets are far from safe with Lisa; she can be very nosy, and doesn't always know when to keep a thing quiet.

In December, 2068, Lisa and Kyrano were married in a ceremony on the island. Despite Kyrano's misgivings, Lisa took his surname as her own, identifying herself both with him and with Tin-Tin, regardless of his family history.
